They are not included in the list of popular cleaning products, but only because no one suspects their unusual properties.
1. Forc
Original assignment: spin spaghetti and catch the “running away” mushroom on a plate.
Iarratas nua: use a fork to smooth out any dents in the carpet. Such imprints remain from massive furniture – the higher the pile of the carpet, the more noticeable they are. Take a fork and straighten out the crumpled areas.
Toradh: flat surface of the carpet (spaghetti stains on the carpet do not count!).
2. Rís
Original assignment: side dish for fried chicken and more.
Iarratas nua: coffee grinder cleaner. Put a handful of rice grains in the grinder and grind it: the small particles will absorb odors and collect coffee residues. Remove the rice flour and wipe the grinder container.
Toradh: the pristine aroma of a cup of freshly ground coffee (just after a hearty lunch with chicken and rice).
3. Plúr arbhair
Original assignment: hominy, flat cakes and other national dishes.
Iarratas nua: fat killer and upholstery (well, what if you don’t have salt at home, and as much cornmeal as you like!). Sprinkle a little flour on the stain and let it soak for 15-30 minutes. Shake the flour off your clothes, and the upholstered furniture will need to be vacuumed.
Toradh: cleanliness without a trace of stains.
4. Baby massage oil
Original assignment: children’s massage.
Iarratas nua: “Massage” of chrome-plated surfaces. Saturate a washcloth with cosmetic oil and use it to wipe down taps, handles, and other chrome interior details.
Toradh: shiny surfaces throughout the home – from the one in the crib to the bathroom and kitchen.
5. Téip Scotch
Original assignment: glue boxes, wrap wires.
Iarratas nua: protection of walls and skirting boards from the marks left by the vacuum cleaner brush during the intensive fight against dust. Glue the tape along the edge of the brush – this way you protect the walls covered with plaster, as well as the baseboards from impacts during cleaning .
Toradh: purity without black marks.

6. Taos fiacla
Original assignment: return to teeth of pearl whiteness.
Iarratas nua: Polishing scratched CDs. Squeeze a tiny drop of toothpaste (gel doesn’t work!) Onto a cotton ball. Use it to wipe the surface of the disc from the center to the edge, as well as along the scratch itself. Rinse the disc with water.
Toradh: Your heart is not a CD, Frank Sinatra’s voice will leave an indelible mark on it.

Original assignment: sweeping the floor.
Iarratas nua: “Sweeping” the ceiling. Use a mop and rag to collect cobwebs and dust from the corners of the room and from the curly moldings.
Toradh: no more circus tricks like balancing with a rag on a wobbly stool.
