Recently, the German government published an official press release, which says: Alexei Navalny was exposed to poison from the Novichok group.

On September 4, this information was confirmed by the authoritative edition Spiegel. Citing sources in the government, the journalists reported that traces of a poisonous substance were found on the bottle from which Navalny drank.

“Without a doubt, the poison belongs to the Novice group,” said a spokesman for the Munich-based Bundeswehr Institute for Pharmacology and Toxicology. Traces of the poisonous substance were found in the man’s blood, skin and urine, as well as in the bottle from which Navalny later drank.

Meanwhile, in Russia several experts at once declare that Alexei could not have been poisoned by Novichok, but for different reasons. For example, Dmitry Gladyshev, Ph.D. in Chemistry, forensic chemist, said that the Novichok family does not exist in principle: “There is no such substance, this is such an invented, philistine name, so we cannot talk about the family.”
