In the spring we need to add freshness – after winter, the skin is pale, there is not enough blush, hemoglobin in the blood. Therefore, classic spring shades are always very delicate. And in summer, the skin becomes darker, looks healthier. Delicate colors on such skin are lost, and cold shades are “eaten” by sunlight. Therefore, in summer, warm shades prevail in makeup. And besides, at this time of the year, you always want to emphasize your tan. For this, special shimmers, bronzers and darkening powders are used. And even in summer, the textures are brilliant in composition – bronze and mother-of-pearl, for example.

There are trends that directly depend on technology. If earlier at the peak of popularity there were red, pink lipsticks, plum-colored lipstick, now technologies allow you to split colors into thousands of shades. What becomes relevant becomes what you like. There can be dozens of colors in one collection of fashion brands. So you just need to look for your own. And there is no strict guidance on which lipstick to use – glossy or matte.

You don’t need to chase after fashion, but you need to understand the main trends. This means that you should pay attention to the forms, and you can always refuse colors. Fashionable neon arrows are not applicable in everyday life. And here is the shape of the eyebrows or the shape over which we apply shadows. – things that cannot be ignored if you want to keep up with the times. For example, the fashion for soft eyebrows is now set. This means that you need to leave angular, too clear forms, no matter How long you want the opposite. If you don’t, then after a while you will notice that compared to those who succumbed to this trend, you look outdated. And this is a direct path to the canonical image of the barmaid, who, in fact, uses fashionable shades – blue and pink (blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick). What’s the problem? How to use these shades: what textures to use, what shape to give the eyebrows, how to apply makeup – all this outlines the style of the era. When our barmaid was a young girl, her makeup was relevant. And now the colors have remained, but the techniques have changed. This means that fundamental trends must be taken into account. If we see an acid-green neon arrow, then, in principle, we can take the arrow as a trend, but make it calmer. And even if neon is a super trend that you don’t want to ignore, it can be used elsewhere: in a bracelet or nail polish, for example.

This is a very big topic on which to write an entire book. I’ll say very briefly: makeup always revolves around proportions. He has a decorative story, and there is a decorating one. The embellishing or harmonizing part of the makeup is always very important. This means that it is better to divert attention from a too long nose, if you are in a complex about this, to make yourself beautiful cheekbones, remove bruises under the eyes and hide fatigue, than just paint your lips red. Red lipstick won’t work if you don’t balance all the proportions first. There are many features in a person’s face that can be corrected. Why do models seem so beautiful? Largely because their faces are plastic, and it is very easy for a makeup artist to work with them. The same goes for most people. Fewer strokes make the face look more harmonious to the other person’s eye or camera. In general, you need to hide everything that does not allow you to live in peace. Whether it really needs to be hidden or is it beautiful. Then you yourself will feel differently: see a different reflection in the mirror and like yourself. And if a person likes himself, then the people around him all the more.

The easiest way to do this is with a bright lipstick. It fits well on any basic, or daytime, business makeup. In it, we corrected the imperfections: we painted up the eyelashes, added a little shadow, tidied up the eyebrows, covered up the bruises, evened out the tone, made a fresh blush. If you apply, say, red lipstick on top of such a base, it will look very confident. And to do this is much faster than, for example, fiddling with shadows. Competent shading requires a calm state, a bunch of different brushes, different shades of shadows and, most importantly, time, which we simply may not have.

The girl needs to feel confident, she needs to look fresh, rested, cheerful. For all this, you will need a concealer to hide fatigue, a blush to emphasize freshness, an eyebrow kit to emphasize a well-groomed face, and any bright element, be it eyeliner or lipstick, that will help emphasize individuality.

I have a standard cosmetic bag. She always contains a serum for the area around the eyes, which can be applied both over and under makeup, lip balm, matting wipes and concealer. Perhaps that’s all.

I’m not a salon lady, I don’t like cosmetology. I can’t lie still when they are doing something to me. I go to cleanings so as not to do them myself, and sometimes I do exfoliation and nourishing masks myself at home.
